COLLOQUE] Rendez-vous les 20 et 21 avril 2023 pour le colloque « Sculpture. Une femme peut donc créer ». Parcours, pratiques, visibilité et réception des sculptrices, XIXe-XXIe siècle. À l’occasion des expositions « Germaine Richier » au Centre Pompidou (jusqu’au 12 juin 2023), et « Sarah Bernhardt, et la femme créa la star » au Petit Palais (du 14 avril au 27 aout 2023), AWARE co-organise un colloque international consacré aux trajectoires artistiques des sculptrices du XIXe siècle à aujourd’hui. Cet évènement met en avant les recherches les plus récentes en analysant les parcours, les pratiques, la visibilité et la réception des œuvres de ces artistes. Les 4 sessions auront lieu à l’INHA, au Centre Pompidou, au musée d’Orsay, et au Petit Palais. — [SYMPOSIUM] "Sculpture. So, a woman can indeed create". Careers, Practices, Visibility and the Reception of Women Sculptors from the 19th to the 21st Century.” April 20 and 21, 2023 On the occasion of the exhibitions "Germaine Richier" at the Centre Pompidou, and "Sarah Bernhardt, et la femme créa la star" at the Petit Palais, AWARE is co-organizing an international symposium devoted to the artistic trajectories of women sculptors from the 19th century to today. This event highlights the most recent research on the careers, practices, visibility and reception of the works of these artists. The 4 sessions will take place at the INHA, the Centre Pompidou, the Musée d'Orsay, and the Petit Palais.
